This is a story of a couple on the Great Loop who "Took the Plunge" by moving aboard full time to motor their vessel to the Gulf of Mexico from Michigan. Once there they "Simplified" and moved on from the Gulf to the Florida coast of the Atlantic Ocean.

Preparing for Departure
Well it is official, it is time for us to depart Biloxi. Pending good weather, we will be leaving Biloxi on Thursday, December 17th to complete our next phase of the Great Loop. This will be a shorter leg than the first. While we had a leisurely three months to travel from Michigan to Biloxi we will move much quicker to our destination which is the Melbourne/Cocoa area of Florida as we need to be there by January 11th.
