3 Years . . .

Three years has passed quickly in Biloxi, MS. Biloxi has been good to us. While the post name will stay the same, the boat has changed! In May 2014 we sold Took the Plunge and purchased Simplified. She is a 36' Endeavour Trawler Catamaran. We love her!

Keep a look out on the blog as our adventure may continue in the very near future.

The Great Loop

The Great Loop is a continuous waterway that runs around the eastern USA. We completed a portion of the Great Loop in 2012. We departed from Lake St. Clair, went north through Lake Huron, crossed under the Mackinac Bridge and then proceeded south on Lake Michigan to Chicago, IL where we entered the river system. Once in the river system, we cruised the Upper Mississippi River, the Ohio River, the Tenn-Tom Waterway, the Black Warrior River and entered the Gulf of Mexico at Mobile, AL. We then followed the ICWW west to Biloxi, Mississippi which was our home for 3 years. Now in late 2015, we are heading out again. We will complete the Big Bend in Florida, cross through lake Okeechobee and head north to Cocoa, FL, our new home.
